Due to the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic, the MLB at Field of Dreams presented by GEICO has been postponed to 2021, the date still to be determined. It has been confirmed that one of the teams will be the Chicago White Sox, with their opponent still unknown.
The White Sox were planning to host the game because of their role in the 1989 Field of Dreams movie, in which the ghosts of “Shoeless” Joe Jackson and other members of the 1919 Black Sox play on the diamond in the Iowa cornfield.
